“Every powerful picture becomes reality.” In this edition we are taking to heart this wonderful quotation from French author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-1944). For what would the world be without visions?
Revel in fantastic images of fascinating architectural structures in Abu Dhabi, which were once created as a vision on the drawing board and are today iconic reality. Be it the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Ethiad Towers or the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
One powerful picture that became reality was the Drone Dragon, which seemed to fly in a 360° spiral around the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai. In the process the drone Event set a Guinness world record. We were there live and are still blown away by the spectacle.
Carlo Riva was able to turn his vision of a perfect motor boat into reality – he created in 1950 the legendary Riva Boats: maritime style icons, born in Italy, revered all over the world. These cult classics still turn heads and draw admiring looks.
