Anna Tsekeridu, founder of the successful premium skin care range MORPHODERM® SkinEsthetics, is in the third-generation of her family living in Germany and works as a qualified beautician at her own institute in Werdohl. When Anna went back to the small, old Greek village of Ochiron, where he grandfather used to live, she had gone in search of her roots and her birth certificate. What she found in the process was much more: her grandfather’s story and his old pharmacopoeia full of prescriptions. At a time when there was no adequate medical care in the countryside and the villages, it was her grandfather who used to help sick neighbours, friends and family to heal themselves utilising the power of nature.
Fascinated by what was possible back then thanks to simple green botany and impressed by the meticulously recorded ingredients, Anna took possession of the little book and flew back to Germany. Back in her everyday routine, she continued to devote herself to her business as a beautician, never imagining that she would soon find her true vocation.

That is the principle that Anna always follows in her work, including when she was asked for help by a despairing client with skin eczma. When nothing helped, Anna Tsekeridu had the idea of using one of her grandfather’s prescriptions and to refine it in her own kitchen. Her self-made lotion produced a minor miracle and ultimately became the source of her great vision: to create a completely new form of skincare awareness. By combining tradition, modernity and her many years of experience in the cosmetics industry, she developed her own skincare products. A form of skincare that fuses in one symbiosis the natural aspects of old Greek botany and the effectiveness of the modern research results of dermatology using high-key ingredients.
The special feature of the products lies not just in the targeted concentration of the different active agents, but also in the special treasures of her grandfather’s formulations. Natural components are the key and through precise dosing and the combination of ingredients facilitate an optimum impact and effectiveness on the skin. A little later, she created from this the MORPHODERM® Skin Esthetics brand, a passionate embodiment of a new value concept and of a vegan, conscious, healthy and holistic form of skincare.
