January 2024, the first vertical urban resort from luxury brand One&Only guests will open its doors. One&Only One Za’abeel is already considered an architectural icon.
The resort rises above Dubai’s exclusive Za’abeel district and overlooks the city’s glittering skyline. Designed by renowned architects Nikken Sekkei, One Za’abeel’s two skyscrapers are a bold new vision of innovation and aspiration. Connected by the world’s longest free-floating building, “The Link” – a futuristic panoramic sky hall suspended 100 meters above the ground.
Space to relax
In keeping with the unparalleled space and seclusion expected of a One&Only resort, One&Only One Za’abeel’s spacious rooms and suites, as well as the Villa One penthouse, are among the largest in all of Dubai. Designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, the interior design takes its cue from “Za’abeel”: meaning “white sand” in the local Emirati dialect. With a calming neutral color palette, subtle sand motifs in textiles, artwork and sculptural lighting, this concept is intuitively woven into the fabric of the resort.
Another first for One&Only is the new “Corner Suites.” The Grand Panoramic Suite allows for carefree city living and offers 180-degree views of Dubai’s ever-changing skyline. The Sanctuary Suites feature a massage table, meditation and stretching area, fitness equipment, while the Creative Suites are equipped with acoustic paneling and the latest AV technology.
The Royal Suite, which invites guests to relax in supreme comfort, offers three distinct living areas, including a sumptuous lounge with bar and dining area that seats ten. The resort is also introducing a range of two-story accommodations, including the Sama Signature Duplex Suite and Villa One. The 755-square-foot Villa One penthouse is a modern Arabian reinterpretation of One&Only’s signature beach villas-this time at a lofty height. Villa One features two bedrooms, an elegant “majlis” (reception lounge), an outdoor infinity pool, a private movie theater, a fitness room, and exclusive benefits such as personal training or spa treatments in the villa, and a private chef.
Perfect location
One&OnlyOne Za’abeel is within walking distance of the Dubai World Trade Centre and Za’abeel Park. Hotel guests can reach downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Dubai International Airport and other attractions such as the Museum of the Future, Dubai Mall and Dubai Frame in a short drive.
